Many of the links shared on this website are affiliate links. It is easiest to assume that they all are. We try our best to sign up to all relevant affiliate programs. We have automated our linking process using Betterlinks Pro. As a consequence of this, sometimes there are a lot of links on a page. Yes, we know it looks a bit spammy but that was the price of automation. We try not to think too much about affiliate marketing. It is just part of life. What this means for you is that if you click on an affiliate link and make any purchase, we may receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. So please click on our links if you wish to make a purchase. It really helps us out and we really appreciate it! Please see our Disclosures page for further information. The first Qrious reader asked what was up with this.

Emergency services anyone? This is one of my many attempts to change the image individually.

They said it looked like a call to emergency services (yes, some countries use this instead of 911).

Well, it isn’t really by design. I used the 0 graphic on the Hacking Inbox 0 post and it has been replicated across all posts in that show in Post Template. I have contacted Spectra for support but they have been unable to replicate the problem. They suggested deactivating all plugins and switching themes to see if the problem was still present. It was a bit painful because of Cloudflare and the Infinite Loops problem but I did do it. Still no luck.

So I did one better. I had a spare domain that I could ‘quickly’ (it all takes time…) setup with zero plugins apart from Spectra. Guess what? Same problem.

Then I did some further digging.

Missing imagick PHP module

Turns out the shared hosting server is either missing or has disabled one of its PHP modules. I don’t think this is the culprit but contacted DreamHost about it anyway. DreamHost support has been excellent and I highly recommend them as a hosting provider. Especially for new users.

I’ve given Spectra support admin access to the testing site. Hopefully they’ll find out what the issue is.
