I’m hoping that this post goes through from the iPhone. I’m testing if the site is working properly again. The site has been offline and then online again the last couple of days as I tried to configure it to work with Cloudflare.

This was one of the failed screens. The other screen that appeared on my desktop said something along the lines of
Error – too many redirects
This suggested to me that an infinite loop of redirects was happening.
Everything seemed to be working fine on Cloudflare’s end.

So I figured the problem must be on the server end. The only function that was doing automatic redirects was http to https. I disabled it. Cloudflare is meant to take care of SSL anyway.

Guess what? The site came back online. Problem was, for some reason beyond my current comprehension, I couldn’t log into the site. This was frustrating me to no end. I felt like I was in an infinite loop of problems.
So I had to switch nameservers back from Cloudflare to my web host in order to login. I figured I couldn’t be the only one on the planet with this issue and that there has to be a plugin that solves it.

Flexible SSL for CloudFlare. This plugin seems to solve the issue of infinite loops. In fact they specifically mention infinite loops as the issue.
I can now login to the admin panel on both desktop and mobile. If this post goes through, it means I’m live again – until the site breaks when I’m playing with another plugin or the like 🙂
Flexible SSL for CloudFlare WordPress plugin is now Qrated.
