TL;DR – Start a new email and don’t tell anyone about it.
Hello World,
This is the first real blog since starting this site. A few days ago I had no idea how to start a WordPress site from 0. I’ll be learning all about it over the next few months and am documenting the journey for my one and only son. He’s only 6 right now and I am sure a lot of things would have changed by the time he grows up. However, I am sure a lot of the lessons I’ll learn and teach will remain the same.
A problem I have had for a while is an ever growing inbox on my personal email account. Google keeps sending me messages saying that it is full. So the other day I deleted about 18000 unread emails. Guess what? I got sent another email with the same message.
So I started reading this article https://blog.superhuman.com/inbox-zero-method/ for guidance on what to do with my overflowing inbox. It wasn’t a bad article but quite soon into it I quit reading. Why? It wasn’t the solution to my pain point. It was helpful knowledge on how to prevent my pain point from happening in the future but it wasn’t right for me.
So what did I do? I started a new email account and haven’t told anyone about it. This starts me at 0 and I should have much more success keeping it there.
I have not figured out my posting schedule yet as I am busy building the backend of this site and figuring out how the front end works.
Feel free to email me with any questions you have. It’s not that hard to do if you really want to. I’ve made it easy for real humans to do so. Less easy for the spambots.
